After a disconnection due to permanent overvoltage, the device becomes operational again by manual reset, provided that the mains voltage has returned to normal values.

This operation prevents automatic reconnection while an abnormal voltage persists in the installation.

Visual operating indicator

The protector incorporates a light window that allows the device status to be checked visually:

• Slow green flashing: correct operation.
• Fast green flashing: possible phase and neutral wiring error.
• Steady green: the module remains operational after acting against a transient overvoltage.
• Red: the transient protection has become unusable and the module must be replaced.

Requires neutral and earth

Procoel expressly specifies that the ST-2P32 must not be installed on lines without neutral or in installations that lack protective earth (PE).
