The time during which the circuit remains on after motion is detected can be adjusted between 10 seconds and 30 minutes. The selected time restarts each time a new detection occurs.

The setting includes positions of 10 seconds, 1 minute, 3 minutes, 7 minutes, 15 minutes, and 30 minutes, allowing the detector’s behavior to be adapted to the actual use of each room.

1-second pulse function

In addition to conventional timing, the CIRCUMAT+ includes a pulse function. In this mode, it activates the output for approximately 1 second and then sets a minimum no-detection period of about 9 seconds.

This function expands integration possibilities when the detector is used to send an activation pulse to other compatible mechanisms or control systems.

3 to 2000 lux twilight control

The integrated light sensor allows you to select the ambient light level below which the detector should operate. The range can be adjusted between 3 and 2000 lux.

With a low setting, lighting will switch on mainly in darkness. If set toward the maximum level, the detector can react in practically any lighting condition. This makes it possible to avoid unnecessary switching on when there is sufficient natural light.

Included detection area limiter

The CIRCUMAT+ is supplied with a field limiter that can be trimmed to exclude certain areas from the sensor’s coverage.

This is useful when the detector is located near doors, secondary corridors, or other areas where movement should not trigger the lighting.

Temperature compensation

Orbis equips the CIRCUMAT+ with temperature compensation to maintain more stable detection under changing environmental conditions. As with any PIR sensor, the range may be reduced when the temperature of the detected person or object approaches ambient temperature.

Zero-cross switching relay

The unit incorporates zero-cross switching, a feature especially suited for working with electronic loads such as LED lighting, fluorescent lamps, and low-energy lamps.

Switching takes place at a point close to the zero crossing of the voltage waveform, helping to reduce electrical stress caused by inrush currents in certain loads.
