Pulsamat Timer from 30 Seconds to 10 Minutes

The Orbis PULSAMAT timer, reference OB200001, is an electronic staircase timer designed to control timed switching of lighting installations. It operates at 230 V, is installed flush-mounted in a universal mechanism box, and allows the operating time to be adjusted between 30 seconds and 10 minutes.

The Orbis PULSAMAT allows you to select the time during which the lighting remains on after each activation. The adjustment range extends from approximately 30 seconds to 10 minutes, providing flexibility to adapt operation to stairways, corridors, lobbies, garages, storage rooms, toilets, and other passage areas.

The timing selector is hidden behind the outer frame, helping prevent accidental changes or tampering once the desired time has been set.

Capacitive touch sensor

Main activation is carried out by a touch sensor located on the front of the device. Simply touch its surface to start the timing cycle, without the need to mechanically press a push button.

The front also includes an indicator LED that makes it easier to locate and check the mechanism.

Resettable operation

The PULSAMAT features resettable timing. If the front sensor or any of the additional push buttons is activated while the circuit remains on, a new full timing cycle begins.

This feature is especially practical in stairways and common areas, as different users can extend the lighting period as they move through the installation.

Compatible with external push buttons

In addition to the built-in capacitive sensor, the PULSAMAT allows external push buttons to be connected to activate the lighting from different points in the installation.

It also supports illuminated push buttons with neon lamp up to a maximum combined consumption of 6 mA at 230 V. In this way, it can be integrated into installations with different switching points.

The Orbis manual also indicates that, if the contact of an additional push button is kept closed by means of a switch, the circuit can remain continuously on while that contact remains closed.

3-wire electronic installation

Reference OB200001 uses a 3-wire connection. This feature allows the use of an output relay and compatibility with a wider variety of lighting technologies than 2-wire electronic timers designed only for certain loads.

Installation is flush-mounted in a 65 x 65 mm universal mechanism box, and electrical connection is made via screw terminals.

6 A output relay

Orbis technical documentation indicates compatibility of the PULSAMAT with Simon Series 27 mechanisms, facilitating integration into certain existing installations or renovation projects.

Flush-mounted format and discreet design
