The S&P NASHIRA S 150 R8 heat recovery unit, reference 5153207300, is a double-flow mechanical ventilation unit designed to continuously renew the air in homes while recovering a large part of the energy from the extracted air. It offers an adjustable airflow rate from 70 to 150 m³/h and 90% sensible efficiency, combining low energy consumption, automatic control and a low-profile design especially suitable for installation in a false ceiling.
The NASHIRA series from Soler & Palau incorporates a high-performance counterflow heat exchanger, low-consumption EC motors and constant airflow fans. The NASHIRA S 150 R8 model corresponds to the sensible heat exchanger version and includes an integrated humidity sensor, automatic and manual bypass, Modbus communication, a 0-10 V input and a control remote included.
The NASHIRA S 150 R8 extracts stale air from the wet areas of the home, such as bathrooms and the kitchen, while introducing filtered outdoor air into bedrooms, the living room and other main rooms. Before the air is expelled outside, the heat exchanger recovers part of its thermal energy to transfer it to the incoming supply air.
This operation makes it possible to maintain continuous air renewal while reducing the energy losses associated with conventional ventilation. S&P states a 90% sensible efficiency for the NASHIRA S 150 according to EN 13141-7.
The heat recovery unit operates with a minimum airflow of 70 m³/h and can reach up to 150 m³/h. The EC fans work with constant airflow regulation, so the unit automatically adjusts its operation to maintain the configured airflow against installation pressure variations.
According to the S&P technical manual, the NASHIRA S 150 can deliver up to 150 m³/h at 400 Pa, offering high pressure capacity to adapt the unit to residential ventilation duct networks.
The NASHIRA S incorporates relative humidity probes that allow the ventilation airflow to be automatically adapted to the indoor conditions of the home. In proportional mode, the unit increases or decreases the airflow according to the detected humidity level.
In the standard configuration of the NASHIRA S 150, the system can operate at 90 m³/h when relative humidity is equal to or below 60% and progressively increase to 135 m³/h when it reaches or exceeds 90%. These parameters can be modified via Modbus communication to adapt operation to the needs of the project.
The heat recovery unit incorporates a bypass to prevent air from passing through the exchanger when thermal conditions make it possible to take advantage of outdoor air directly. This function is especially useful for free cooling when outdoor temperature is favorable.
The bypass can operate automatically according to the temperatures measured by the unit or be activated manually from the control system. In addition, it is possible to configure a specific operating airflow for free cooling mode.
The fans are driven by DC EC motors, a technology developed to reduce electrical consumption and allow precise speed regulation. By working at constant airflow, the unit can compensate for pressure variations that occur in the installation due to the ducts or the condition of the filters.
The manufacturer declares a sound power of 46 dB(A) according to EN 13141-7. In its ErP data, S&P indicates a sound pressure level of approximately 33 dB(A) at 1.5 meters under the specified reference conditions.
The NASHIRA S 150 R8 includes G4 filters as standard on both supply and extract air. Filtration protects the exchanger and internal components while reducing the entry of particles present in the outdoor air.
For supply air, S&P offers different optional filtration levels that allow the unit to be adapted to the air quality requirements of the project, including M5, F7, F9 and activated carbon filters.
With dimensions of only 1000 x 600 x 210 mm, the NASHIRA S heat recovery unit features a low-profile design intended for integration into false ceilings. Its weight is 24.5 kg, making handling and installation easier.
The unit has four air connections of Ø125 mm. S&P's FLEXY system allows the nozzle positions to be changed to suit the duct layout, improving installation flexibility without needing to dismantle the unit.
The NASHIRA series allows the flow configuration to be electronically reversed, making it easier to adapt to different duct layouts. This feature, together with the repositionable connections, allows the heat recovery unit to be configured to suit the needs of each installation.
The heat recovery unit is supplied with a control remote, from which it is possible to select the unit operation and make different airflow adjustments. The unit has four operating levels: low speed, medium speed, high speed and a specific speed for free cooling.
It also integrates Modbus RTU communication and a 0-10 V analog input, making it easy to integrate with compatible control systems or external sensors. Through a 0-10 V signal, the unit can proportionally modify the airflow when operating in automatic mode.
The electronics allow parameters such as current airflow, indoor humidity, temperatures, bypass status and remaining time until the filter maintenance warning to be checked.
Using the compatible SPCM communications board, the NASHIRA range can connect to S&P's CONNECTAIR platform, allowing system supervision and control functions to be added via the internet. This option expands management possibilities for installations that require connected control.
The NASHIRA S range is certified as a Passivhaus component, a certification aimed at highly energy-efficient solutions for very low-energy buildings. For reference 5153207300, S&P's ErP documentation establishes an A specific energy consumption class in the standard configuration.
The combination of the counterflow exchanger, EC motors, automatic humidity control and constant airflow operation helps reduce the energy needed to renew the home's air.
According to the S&P technical manual, the supply includes the NASHIRA S heat recovery unit, control remote, flexible tube for condensate drain connection, user and commissioning documentation, energy label, mounting template and label for flow configuration.
The S&P NASHIRA S 150 R8 combines an airflow of up to 150 m³/h with 90% sensible heat recovery, EC motors, constant airflow control and automatic regulation via humidity sensor. Its 210 mm height, adjustable connections and flow reversibility make it easy to integrate into different home configurations.
Automatic and manual bypass, Modbus communication, 0-10 V input, different filtration options and the included remote complete a heat recovery unit designed to provide efficient, controlled and adaptable residential ventilation.
